Restrike Studios opened in November 2006. It was a 24 track analogue/digital studio based in North Manchester featuring a DDA desk, Otari 2″ MTR90 tape machine and Pro Tools system. It also boasted a 500 sqft live room which was a real selling point and one of my favourite things about it. When I took on the lease in September 2006 it looked like this.

It took 2 months of work to get the studio up and running and I wouldn’t have managed it without the help of my good friend and mentor Q. The gallery below gives some idea of the work we put into the build over those 2 months (no days off!).

I ran the studio for 4 years working with local bands and label artists and taking on some film sound and music projects. You can hear some tracks from the studio on the music page of the site.
